Bassam Saba led the New York Arabic Orchestra (with guest vocalist Naji Youssef) in performance of original and traditional pieces for large orchestra; flamenco wizard Arturo Martinez and his Espiritu Gitano ensemble stretched the boundaries of the art with special guest Badal Roy on tabla.
